Our Work Together -The 90-Day Protocols

The conventional medical care/ insurance model that society works under today is a “sickness care” model. This type of care is only effective only if you’re really, really sick and sadly, it’s not going to get you where you want to be. This model is based on “symptom relief “and “treatment” of disease. It does not adequately address the underlying causes of malfunction or take into consideration prevention, nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, hidden stressors, or supplements.

The model I work within is a “opt in” self care model. It’s about taking back responsibility for your own health and wellness and committing to the process.  I work, one on one, with clients for 90 days to help identify hidden stressors and underlying causes of concern, to integrate new habits, answer questions, provide follow up, coach and tweak the protocols when needed. At FDN we like to say we “wrap our arms around you” for 90 days.


Why 90 days?

 It takes time to integrate change and create new habits into your diet and lifestyle. And, let’s face it; it took a while for you to get where you are and hear what your body has been trying to tell you and it’s going take a little time to build your health, restore your vitality and achieve your goals.

Change can be challenging. Most of us already feel overwhelmed much of the time and the idea of making big changes can be daunting. When we have 3 months together, we can systematically break things down into “ underwhelming” steps so they’re easy to integrate into lifelong habits. Wouldn’t it be great to never have to even think about drinking enough water, eating enough vegetables, getting enough exercise or sleep? Well, when these tasks turn into habits, they’re as unconscious as brushing your teeth and your energy can be focused on going out and making your unique mark in the world.

How does this process work?

Before our first meeting (or after your free assessment) you will be asked to fill out a number of intake forms as well as a 3 day dietary food log and send them to me via email or fax. Forms can be found in the main menu and are all fillable online

For your convenience, I work in person, skype or by phone. 

In our first session, we’ll go through all of your forms, and discuss one on one, your main concerns and obstacles. It’s in this session that the relevant test kits will be explained and dispensed.

When your lab results are in, I’ll do my “detective work” and connect with you to set up your protocol appointment. This appointment is typically 60-90 minutes. Here we go over your lab results and your individual 90-day D.R.E.S.S. for Health Success protocol. DRESS stands for Diet, Rest, Exercise, Stress Reduction and Supplementation. 

You’ll be given a list of recommended supplements to take for the 90 days, which you can acquire through us, for your convenience, or from your local health store. We make every effort to find balance between efficacy and value when choosing supplements for your protocol. This is a big appointment.

 At the end of this session, your follow up appointments will be booked. Most clients find it most helpful to book 4, 30 minute follow ups throughout the 90 days. These appointments can be in person, skype or phone.


 * Here is my suggestion for ultimate success and value:  Invest in yourself. Do all of the suggested testing at once and in the beginning. Knowledge is power. We’ll have more information to make your program more effective and you’ll save both money and time on interpretation fees and lab turnover times*
